Hello dovies! We are Sami & Martha, a mother daughter team working to provide cancer and stroke survivors with The 2nd Chance Candle to remind them that they are not alone in their recovery. I started this company in honor of my mother who is a survivor of BOTH. Her strength has shown me that anything is possible.

CANDLES WITH A PURPOSE

  • The Mission

    We built this company with the mission to provide clean burning, non toxic candles for you and your loved ones. 

  • The Wax

    We use a non GMO coconut soy wax blend for our container candles and 100% pure soy wax for our pillar candles. There is absolutely no paraffin wax in our candles.

  • The Fragrance Oils

    We only use Certified Clean Scent fragrance oils that promise to contain no carcinogens and no harmful toxins found in other oils.

The 2nd Chance Project's First Annual Fundraising Gala

On September 13th, 2025, my momma's first heavenly birthday, I was thrilled to share with supporters of 2nd Chance our launch of our new 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, The 2nd Chance Project. This organization will be dedicated to supporting cancer and stroke survivors. We shared our plans to open support centers for survivors as well as directly impact the lives of survivors during their journey.
